The Batlow Road from the Snowy Valleys Highway intersection to the township reopened at 4pm.
Essential Energy crews were able to restore power in the urban area of Batlow and Tumbarumba yesterday to about 19000 customers.
However, residents are being urged to be mindful of the risks associated with fire impacted buildings, such as asbestos, damaged electrical wires and contaminated water.
A full assessment has not yet been undertaken of the local and arterial roads in the Batlow area.

The Dunns Road bushfire alert level is still at advice status and the blaze remains out of control.
The 313,000-hectare bushfire is burning on multiple fronts and the RFS is also still working to protect property.
The fire has passed through Batlow, Wondalga, Kunama and Talbingo and surrounding areas, though there still may be active fire and unburnt areas.
Those in the Mundaroo, Ournie, Mannus, Tooma and surrounding areas are urged to monitor the conditions and have a plan if the fire - which may still merge with the Green Valley, Talmalmo and East Ournie Creek fires - threatens.
Anyone left in the Ellerslie, Adelong, Rosewood, Tumbarumba and surrounds, as well as Tumut, should watch for embers and spot fires.
