WAGGA City Wanderers is confident more players from the club can use it as a springboard for bigger things after signing with Melbourne Women's National Premier League outfit Heidelberg United.

The 19-year-old will also attend university in the Victorian capital and hopes the move south and playing at a higher level will help her push to attract the attention of W-League clubs.
"It's about trying to step up to that next level of professionalism, the little things," Gayler said.
"We'll have one or two W-League players in our side, and we'll be playing against W-League players week-in, week-out."
The striker has been training with Heidelberg, who narrowly missed finals last season, for six weeks and is adamant she won't be the last players to use the Wanderers system as a career springboard.
The Wanderers were granted entry into Canberra's National Premier League this year and while they endured a tough campaign, many talented youngsters came up against tough opposition.
"With the success of the younger girls in the Wanderers and the ability a lot of them already have, they're going to be able to take it to the next level," she said.
"If they stay focused and decide that's what they want to do, I see a lot of them going away and getting that next level exposure.
"There's some real quality players there and I think that will benefit the Wanderers."
Gayler will also coach Heidelberg United's under-14 side after filling a similar role with the Wanderers juniors this year.
