It's been all quiet on the recruitment front for Marrar leading up to Christmas but coach Shane Lenon says they'll roll into 2020 confident of again being a force.

After back-to-back premierships in Lenon's first two years at Langtry Oval, the Bombers missed a third straight grand final last season.
But only after they'd defied the prospect of a post-centenary slump. After significant departures following their two flags, Marrar dropped just two home-and-away games all season on the way to a preliminary final finish, losing to eventual premiers North Wagga.
There haven't been any acquisitions yet but Lenon says faith in their emerging players combined with minimal losses mean it's not an emergency.
"As far as recruiting, we're not going out to recruit a lot of players. We're only after a couple of the right sort of players because we need to give our young blokes opportunities to play senior footy and that's what we'll be doing," Lenon said.
"We're confident in the young group we've got. We're keeping the majority of them together, so that's a positive.
"A lot of the young blokes played first grade all year but there was also another half-a-dozen that had three or four games, so there'd be natural improvement there."
Lenon said most of their key players will be back including captain and best-and-fairest Jackson Moye, ruckman Nick Molkentin, assistant coach Cal Gardner, forward Zach Walgers, key defender Nick Cooper, as well as their younger brigade led by Jed Jenkins, Toby Lawler and Harry Reynolds.
The departures so far are Tyler Cunningham back to Turvey Park and Rhys Mooney to Canberra Demons, although changes to the rules could allow first-year players to return to their home clubs in AFL Riverina if not selected in the North East Australian Football League team.
"I'm not sure how that will play out, there may be an opportunity there for him to play down the track. I'm not too sure of the rules and how they work there. But hopefully he's playing for the Canberra Demons all year and we don't see him. So we'll count him as a loss," Lenon said.
There may be other exits yet but the club is also hopeful of a couple of arrivals in the new year. And Lenon points out players like Adam Whyte and Damien O'Donoghue missed much of last year with injury.
He believes they only need a couple of recruits to be right in the mix again.
"We're definitely keen to pick up one or two of the right sort of players but we're confident in the young blokes we've got within the club. That's where our development and natural improvement will come from if we're good enough to take another step," Lenon said.
"In saying that, when the dust settles and you look at last year, we had a pretty good year really.
"We had a bad game and we got beaten by a better side in the prelim. We weren't good enough. But when you look at it as a whole season, it was a pretty good year as a club. The amount of footy we got into our young blokes... I think it holds the club in good stead for the future."
Marrar's 2020 season will kick off at Coleambally on April 4, followed by another away game at Temora in round two, the week after Easter.
