There were grand final galores at Jubilee Park as teams from 15 competitions battled it out to wrap up another successful season.
Wagga Touch secretary Juanita Bailey was pleased to see more kids participating this season.
Around 1600 took part this season with a number of age divisions expanding to allow for the increase.
"Our numbers did increase this year," Bailey said.
"We had 118 teams in our junior comp, up eight from last year."
The boost in numbers has also flowed through to the representative arena.
Wagga will increase the number of representative teams to 18 this season with a under 10s development team added to their list.
Bailey believes it is good for the sport's development to allow more kids the chance to experience a higher level of competition.
It means each age group from under 8s to under 18s for both boys and girls will take part in the NSW southern state cup in Wagga next February.
After the first running of the split event was held in Wagga this year, Bailey expects an even bigger response this time around.
"Every age group will be well represented," Bailey said.
"They are actually predicting it will be bigger than last year with more numbers expected."
The move to have northern and southern pools already saw extra teams, particularly from the Riverina, look to take part.
