The We've got the Goods campaign showcases restaurants, cafes, accommodation and other businesses around the region who use local suppliers.
Looking at everything from wines and beer to herbs and spices, the campaign will highlight an individual business each month, with the next installment featuring Wagga's own Roundabout Restaurant.
General manager of Destination Riverina Murray, Richie Robinson, said the campaign encourage others to follow in the footsteps of those businesses already using local suppliers.
"We are mostly trying to encourage businesses like cafe owners or accommodation owners to consider using local produce and local suppliers where they can," he said.
"There are obviously lots of challenges doing that, it's not as simple as placing an order with a local supplier, but it can be done and can be done well."
Mr Robinson said it was also about giving visitors the 'whole' Riverina experience.
"We want to be sharing our products with visitors, so that when they do come to places like Wagga, they get a local food experience," he said.
As the Riverina is known to be the 'food bowl' of Australia, Mr Robinson said it was important to live up to the title.
"We want visitors to get what they expect to get here," he said.
The first episode of the series featured Tumbarumba's Nest Cafe who not only use local produce like Snowy Mountains trout, local hazelnuts and chocolate from Junee, but also host events to promote the offerings.
Events, according to Mr Robinson, are a vital step in promotion of the region's products.
"Things like Cork and Fork or Fusion are a great way to showcase wines like Borambola or a variety of offerings for people to sample all in one place," he said.
At this stage, the campaign is looking to release three episodes, once a month, but Destination Riverina Murray are encouraging other businesses to get in touch if they believe they offer a great range of local products.
Wagga's tourism appeal was recently boosted in another way following the announcement of making it to the top 10 beaches of Australia.
It was the first time veteran coastal advocate Brad Farmer included an inland 'beach' to his exclusive list of the country's best
"Wagga Beach ticks all the boxes for inclusion in the top 20 list - golden sand, sunshine, water for a dip, shade to cool off," he said.
