After a late rally to secure their first win of the season last round, Colts are out to defend 170 at Harris Park on Saturday.
Wagga RSL got off to their best start of the season when they made it to stumps at 0-48, and Colts captain Keenan Hanigan is desperate for early wickets.
"They need 130 runs off their 80 overs and it is going to be tough work but we will back our bowlers in to get the job done," Hanigan said.
"It's not impossible and we have belief going into Saturday."
Colts don't have their full strength bowling attack at their disposal but Nathanael Mooney returns this week.
Combined with the return of Macgregor Hanigan from injury last week, Kooringal have a lot more options with the ball.
"We've got a few key bowlers out at the moment but he (Macgregor) and Nathanael Mooney is back as well to strengthen our bowling," Keenan Hanigan said.
Marcus Sevior (26) and Ethan Perry (22) resume for Wagga RSL.
