The Combined Riders of Wagga have been organising the Toy Run for more than 30 years, said committee member Pat Combs.
"It's made up of members of the Ulysses Club and Harley Owners Group," he said.
"We start in fundraising in June and July and from that money we purchase toys and gifts in the leadup."
Paul Dawson previously escorted the riders in 2005 and 2006 as a police rider, but will be joining the cause as a community member this year.
"It is important because it gets the motorcyclists together and find presents for kids who otherwise might not get any this Christmas," he said.
"It's good to get out and hang out with people who have shared interests and all for a good cause.
"It's a way to build community spirit."
All cash donations are spent on toys and all toys are donated to the Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul for distribution in the Riverina.
Mr Combs said everyone in Wagga from businesses to residents gets behind the cause, whether by giving discounts or donating gifts.
He added the annual event wouldn't be possible without Ron Crouch Transport, GEO Group, the Commonwealth Bank, the Wollundry Rotary and the Teys-Cargill social club.
During the Toy Run's history, more than $250,000 worth of toys has been donated to charity.
This year the Toy Run will finish at the Civic Centre. The afternoon will feature family entertainment including a jumping castle, raffles and an auction.
For safety reasons, do not try to give toys to the riders while they are on the road.
