Cootamundra have appointed Joe Scott as the club's new coach, with Jacob Tiernan his assistant.
The pair will return from East Wagga-Kooringal to the club they both played Auskick at.
Tiernan has played over 150 first grade games for the Hawks and was a member of 2016 premiership, alongside Scott.
Scott was vice-captain of the Hawks' 2016 premiership team and returned to the club this year, where he was best-on-ground in EWK's reserve grade grand final win.
Cootamundra president Todd Basham was rapt to welcome the pair back to the club.
"They both played Auskick with us when they were young and because we don't have juniors a lot of our kids go in and play with East Wagga," Basham said.
"We're hoping they bring with them that experience from the Farrer League and basically carry on the work that Luke Webb has done."
Webb will stay on as a player at Cootamundra.
Basham expects Scott and Tiernan to strengthen the Blues' midfield depth and provide added support to Phil Bird and Dylan McDermott.
Bird won the league best and fairest in AFL Canberra's regional division this year.
Cootamundra lost the grand final to Belconnen by eight points.
Scott lives at Coolac, which is 30 minutes from Cootamundra.
