Police say it appears the attack could be linked to one that hit the Griffith City Cinemas on Saturday.
Police and security personnel arrived at the scene at around 12.55am on Tuesday morning after a woman called the emergency line seeing a white car leave the area.
At the same time, another resident on Whitton Street left his house after being woken up by the bang and saw a silver SUV parked outside the building.
The front door of the club on Wakaden Street has been heavily damaged, but nothing was taken from inside.
Police examined the car, which they say had extensive damage to the back of the vehicle, with a flat tire.
They also found another car of interest on Messner Street after reviewing CCTV footage.
It also had damage to the front bumper with two flat tires.
