The Wagga School of Arts finished with a "huge, explosive bang" to mark its 160 year anniversary.
The opening night of The 20s and All that Jazz saw people dressing up in clothes of the era in a bid to win the prize for the best dressed.
Marketing manager Fay Walters said this year's final production was something special.
"It was really spectacular and full of glitz and glamour," she said.
"Three young girls won the best-dressed competition, which was really beautiful to see and many responded to dressing up in the spirit of the show.
"We had a professional director, we moved into the playhouse which we don't do very often, and so we went out with a huge, explosive bang - it was an amazing show to mark 160 years."
There are still four shows left, with two matinee and two evening performances between December 6 to 8, which are held at the CSU Playhouse.
