The final score, coincidently, was the same as when they first met in the opening round of the season.
However, on this occasion it was just one Saints' innings, their sixth, that they scored all eight of their runs.
The Saints were shutout in the other six innings, while Warriors scored steadily to take a 5-0 lead.
Outstanding performers for the Warriors up until this stage were Jess Swaysland, Montana Kearnes, Layhnee Kearnes and Sam O'Neill.
What was to follow was an avalanche of runs in the top of the sixth.
Desi Calder, Tessa McGlynn, Rochelle Harley, Kadison Hofert, Paula Potts, Jess Wild, Laura Harley and Gemma McGlynn all found their way home to take an 8-5 lead.
The Warriors then diminished the margin to one, by adding two runs in the bottom of the sixth, courtesy of Kristy Tenison and Swaysland.
With one turn at bat remaining, Saints had an opportunity to add further runs when Kadison Hofert hit a two-bagger, but regulation dismissals left her stranded on base.
In a last minute bid to steal the game the Warriors couldn't bridge the gap, when a routine "three up-three down" finished the game.
In the other match, Turvey Park Red batted their way to a 12-2 win over the Turvey Park Blue team.
The Blues were first to bat, but soon were dismissed with three regulation outs.
In response the Reds, despite being two down, brought in four runs featuring a strong outfield home run to Belinda Dennis and a difficult muffed leftfield catch off the bat of Kate Looney.
The Blues were again shutout in their second dig, despite a two bagger centrefield hit from Paris Hall.
Meanwhile the Reds increased their lead when safe hits to Dennis and the Piercy sisters, Jamila and Anneka contributed to Dennis and youngster, Makaide Gale, crossing the plate.
The Blues opened their account in the top of the third when safe hits to Leila Wadley, Phoebe Wadley and Charlie Hall saw the latter two score.
The next four half-innings were all shutouts before Reds finished the game with a six-run haul in the final dig.
Safe hits to Jamila Piercy, Kate Looney, Jade Olsen, Sarah Carter Alex Maiden and Macaide Gale's home run doubled their score leaving the Reds big winners.
There is a general bye on with Saturday before the Blues tackle Saints on December 14 and the Reds meet the Warriors.
