Trenaman won selection for Australia A's tour of England earlier this year, in her first national senior squad honour.
The teenage all-rounder is one of just three NSW players in the 13-strong squad for the one-dayers from December 12 to 14.
Trenaman wasn't named in the squad for the Twenty20 games to follow.
The series against the Indian team is the first time Australia has hosted an international women's 'A' team.
Cricket Australia said the tour is a key step in its female pathway program, and a chance for players to continue to push their case for national selection.
"The squads have been selected with a long-term view to the 50-over World Cup in New Zealand in 2021 while also rewarding those players who have demanded selection through strong domestic performances," national selector Shawn Flegler said.
"It's important that the depth of Australian cricket continues to develop, with those players who have already had a taste on international cricket continuing to build their game and develop so they're ready to go when the opportunity presents itself."
Trenaman scored a half-century for NSW in their last game in the Women's National League, against Victoria in September.
