The region is set for one of their strongest representations in the Highway with four runners set to tackle this week's edition of the country feature at Kembla Grange on Saturday.
With the inaugural edition of The Gong being held at Kembla Grange on Saturday, Southern District trainers have jumped at the opportunity of a shorter trip to contest the $75,000 TAB Highway Class Three Handicap (1600m).
Wagga trainer Trevor Sutherland has Two Wrongs Dont and Jungle Book engaged, while Mitchell Beer and David Blundell will be represented by Shinseki and Magpie respectively.
Sutherland believes it is the perfect race for both his runners.
"It looks a nice race for them both. There's only a split hair between them," Sutherland said.
"The barrier (19) doesn't matter with Two Wrongs Dont. We'll ride him back anyway and there's a big long straight for him."
Two Wrongs Dont is given the best chance by TAB and is on the third line of betting at $7.50.
Blaike McDougall retains the ride on Two Wrongs Dont, while James Innes Jnr jumps aboard Jungle Book.
Glen Boss rides Shinseki and Shaun Guymer is on Magpie.

THE comeback of Albury jockey Brodie Loy continues to build momentum.
Loy will partner Noble Boy in the inaugural $1 million The Gong (1600m) at Kembla Grange on Saturday.
This comes after Loy steered this year's Country Championships winner to third place in the group three Chatham Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on Stakes day.
Queanbeyan trainer Todd Blowes and connections have entrusted Loy with the ride again on Saturday, where he will jump from barrier four.
TAB has Noble Boy as an $8.00 chance in the race.
Fellow Albury jockey Blaike McDougall has also picked up a ride in the race on Looks Like Elvis.

TREVOR Sutherland will take a big team to the famous Bong Bong picnics on Friday.
Sutherland has been a regular at the meeting in recent years and is set to take a team of six to this year's meeting.
He does not have a runner in the $18,000 Cup but has a representative in each of the remaining five races on the card.
On Sutherland's runners, Gentleman Max has been sent to the paddock after a big finish to his campaign.
Gentleman Max ran ninth, beaten six lengths, in Friday's $100,000 Snake Gully Cup (1400m) at Gundagai.
He then backed up two days later at Canberra in the Australian Light Horse Association Road To The Jericho (3400m).
The grand campaigner was sent out the $3.80 second favourite and battled on for fourth placing, five lengths behind winner, Ten Tigers.
Sutherland also unveiled two-year-old debutant Charming Pat at the Canberra meeting, who ran second behind the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained Farnan in the 2YO Handicap.

The club posted an operating profit of $41,265 for the 2018-19 season, which was down from a $60, 760 the year before.
"Given the unforeseen circumstances of losing our Gold Cup meeting and to still record a profit is a pleasing result for everybody involved," chief executive Steve Hetherton told The Border Mail.
