A man will appear in court today charged with the alleged assault of a toddler and twin babies in the Riverina.

In May 2013, detectives from the State Crime Command's Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad were notified after a 15-month-old presented to hospital with facial bruising and bleeding.
An investigation commenced at the time, however, no charges were laid at the time.
In March this year, a two-month-old was transported to hospital after becoming unresponsive.
Officers were told by the doctors the baby had suffered leg fractures, significant head trauma and facial bruising.
Detectives commenced inquiries to investigate how the baby came to be injured.
During the investigation, detectives were notified that another two-month-old presented at hospital after losing consciousness in March this year.
Following extensive investigations, detectives arrested a 24-year-old man, who is known to the infants, at a business in the Riverina just after 1pm on Thursday.
He was taken to a police station and charged with two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm (domestic violence) and reckless grievous bodily harm (domestic violence).
Police will allege in court that the man assaulted the two-month-old twins on separate occasions in March 2019.
It will be further alleged the man assaulted the 15-month-old in May 2013.
The man was refused bail to appear in court on Friday.
The children are all in the care of family.
