Smoke has blanketed Tolland as flames engulfed a residence on the corner of Anne and Raye streets this afternoon.
Emergency services, including one HAZMAT van, six Fire and Rescue NSW trucks and the Rural Fire Service crews, rushed to the scene.
NSW Fire and Rescue Superintendent Stewart Alexander said the first call was received at 4.14pm.
"We received a number of calls about a house fire on Anne Street at Tolland," Superintendent Alexander said.
"The house was totally involved in fire ... firefighters have brought it under control quickly.
"We had concerns about a missing person inside, but we now have an all clear."
The property has been "destroyed" by the fire, but thankfully there have been no reported injuries.
Firefighters are entering the property in breathing apparatus and the police officers are wearing face masks.
Superintendent Alexander said FRNSW and RFS units will remain on the scene for a while.
"No cause is determined yet," he said.
"It will be subject to an investigation once the premises can be checked."
