The 16-year-old produced rounds of 73 and 74 to win the Wagga Country Club's club championships by four shots on Sunday.
Carroll finished the rain-shortened championships on 220, seeing off more experienced rivals Luke Chisholm (224) and Kyle Tuckett (229).
In the process, Carroll became just the fifth golfer to win the club championships three years in a row, and the first since Neil Speirs in 1991.
"It's pretty special to be honest. I can't really believe it," Carroll said.
"There hasn't been too many that have done it. I was having a look at the honour board (on Sunday) and I think there's only been a few people that have won it three or more times in a row so it's pretty great to be up there on the honour board with those names.
"At a such a young age is pretty special to me too because it shows my hard work is paying off."
Lightning abandoned last Sunday's second round of the championships. It meant that Carroll entered the final weekend as one of five players with a share of the lead.
The young gun found himself in trouble on Saturday when he was five over through his first nine holes. Carroll, however, recovered in style to go six under through his next six holes to get his title defence well and truly back on track.
"I was really happy with how I came back on Saturday," he said.
"I thought if I could get a couple of birdies and finish three or four over then I should still be in contention but I got really hot, to be honest, and I felt like I couldn't miss."
Carroll entered the final round with a three shot lead. He believes the ability to get up and down out of a bunker to save par on the 14th hole was what sealed his victory.
"The turning point for me was the 14th hole," he said.
"I was two shots ahead and hit a bad tee shot and Luke was on the green. I had a very tough bunker shot and it was probably the best shot I hit all day and got it to about seven foot. Then I sunk the putt to save par."
The win continued a big couple of months for Carroll, who was part of the Australian team that won the MJT International Teams Challenge in Canada in September.
Meantime, Kade Macdonald (256) won the B grade club championship from Tom Curtis (259). Isaac Molloy (275) won C grade from Bryan Stokes (280).
Brian Harris won the veteran's title, while Molloy was the junior nett winner. Carroll was also the junior champion.
