They have told the Port News they are hoping for the best and supporting each other and the family in this difficult time.
Mrs Ridley is a Christian and her church community has been praying she will be found alive.
Police believe Mrs Ridley, 58, travelled from her home in Port Macquarie to Tumbarumba where her estranged husband lives on Friday, 18 October in a dark blue Mitsubishi Pajero.
The Pajero was found in Shelley, Victoria, 86 kilometres away on Tuesday, 29 October with the body of her 61-year-old estranged husband inside.

A crime scene was established by Victorian Police who are leading the investigation into the circumstances of his death. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
The caravan was located the next day in Tumbarumba.
On Thursday, November 7 NSW SES conducted a search via boat along Murray River starting at Neils Reserve, 7km east from Walwa in Victoria and worked their way approx 5km downstream).
Local NSW Police are also conducting a land search in Walwa.
Police are seeking information regarding any members of the public who may have been camping at or in the vicinity of Neil's Reserve, 7km east from Walwa in Victoria on the Murray River on the weekend of Saturday 26 - Sunday 27 October.
Also, if anyone noticed the Mitsubishi Pajero towing the caravan between Walwa and Tumbarumba on Sunday, October 27 to contact Crime stoppers or their local police station.
