The Bulls are coming off heavy losses to top two sides South Wagga and Wagga City in the past fortnight and are out to keep themselves in the top four at Rawlings Park this weekend.
Saints won the Twenty20 clash between the two clubs in the opening weekend and Bulls captain Isaac Cooper is looking for a better bowling performance this time around.
"They batted well against us last time so I think we need to improve on our bowling," Cooper said.
"It definitely let us down."
Cooper thought they were about 30 runs short in the Twenty20 against Wagga City last week, but the Cats had more than 10 overs in hand when they reached the 112 needed.
Rounds have consisted of each of the three formats in the past three weeks, but Cooper expects the two-day format will suit the side.
"Going into two-day format it is a good chance to see how we are looking in the longer form," he said.
"Hopefully we all perform.
"We've got some batsmen who prefer the longer form and it will give our bowlers a chance to get a bit of work under their belts."
Lake Albert have made one change with Josh Coyte in for Danny Webber.
