Young Tigers backmen Dylan Morton (Glenelg) and Ben Kelly (Central District) are both heading to Adelaide.

Their South Australian state league opportunities come on the back of premiership captain Nick Ryan's move to East Wagga-Kooringal, while Jackson Kelly is also tipped to be an SANFL target.

But ruckman Tom Osmotherly has re-signed for next season along with star forward Jesse Manton.

After overseeing Tigers' return to the top of the Riverina League this year, Maiden is confident the club's health, and the anticipation of some new faces, will keep them in a strong position.

"From our point of view we had some really good depth, we thought, this season gone," Maiden said.

"Our thirds sat on top of the ladder for the majority of the year and only went down in the grand final at the end. We got some senior footy into some of those guys this year and I can see a few more of those guys stepping up.

"Our reserves made the finals as well so we do have a bit of depth there.

"And we'll have some new guys coming in. Hopefully we'll have something to say about that in a week or two."

Maiden said Morton and Kelly, both sons of Tigers legends, will naturally go with the club's blessing.

"It's a fantastic opportunity for them, to go and test themselves at that higher level. It'll be good to see them have a go at it and see how they go," Maiden said.

Morton was one of Tigers' finest in the grand final win against Griffith while Kelly had been an important cog in their defence before cruelly missing the decider with a hamstring injury.

However, Tigers welcome Shaun Flanigan back to Robertson Oval as an assistant coach, alongside grand final best-on-ground Brendy Myers who'll fill the same role.

Maiden insists the aim is to 'remain competitive' with talk of chasing successive titles virtually taboo.

"Back-to-back, that won't even be spoken about," he said. "We'll have the majority of our guys back. I think there may be a couple more on the move. But at the end of the day, we'll go forward with who we do have and work out how we're going to play our best footy.

"Once we get our list together and get back in training we'll work out what's going to suit us best with the way we play.

"We'll certainly have some differences and I think we'll need to be a little bit different, to be truthful. And we'll need to improve, no doubt."

Tigers' grand final opponents, Griffith, are in a similar boat, with high profile losses including young forwards Jacob and Lucas Conlan to the Ovens and Murray League, as well as Guy Orton (Coleambally) and Jordan Iudica (Queanbeyan).

"Obviously this season comes and goes pretty quickly," Maiden said.

"Once it's over, it's the silly season as they call it. It's a funny time of year where there's lots of stuff you hear happening. Some of it does happen, some of it doesn't."
