The Cats have only lost once so far and will provide another big test for the Bulldogs.
Captain Sam Perry is hoping a better start will help them be more competitive.
"Last week we actually weren't too bad," Perry said.
"We had a little hiccup at the start of the day while they started well.
"Ultimately it came down to the first six overs where they scored 50-odd runs and when we batted we scored about 20.
"Straight away we were behind the eight ball but we certainly didn't embarrass ourselves."
With Nick Grant sidelined with a hip injury, Perry believes the side is evolving away from being reliant on their bowling attack.
Now he's looking for their batting order to stand up at Robertson Oval.
"Our batting has probably been our weakest point for the last four years but if we could put a fair score on the board it will go along way to winning the game," Perry said.
Wagga RSL have made two changes with James Richards and Henry Standley coming in.
