Witches, ghouls and creepy crawlies did their best to frighten friends all in good fun at the Morgan Street centre.
There was a unanimous agreement among the children that trick or treating was the best part of Halloween, but 5-year-old Brydee Lamprey-Winslett was a little easier to please.
"My favourite part of Halloween is the lollies," she said.
"The swirly lollipops are my favourite."
Lollipops were also a favourite of 5-year-old Chloe Burman.
"I like the swirly ones too with the rainbow colours," she said.
Grace Gilholme, 5, had her eyes on a different lolly.
"I like the little chewy things, the strawberry flavoured ones," she said.
The group could agree on one thing though, that spiders were the scariest part of the day.
"I'm scared of ghosts too," Grace said.
The Halloween fun continued into the night too, with hundreds of children and families scattering the streets in search of tasty treats.
