Mr Thompson will be sharing his story, different mindset practices and coping strategies to help the region's men.
It is a free event from 6pm to 7.30pm at the Tolland Community Centre and a barbecue will be provided.
It comes after former player Joe Williams presented a session last Sunday and a resilience workshop by Brothers 4 Recovery on October 13.
In September, the men's group co-founder Rhys Cummins said it was a "great opportunity for the men of our region to hear from some well known people and organisations in the mental health field".
"To listen to their stories, find inspiration and learn different ways to improve their mental health," he said.
"Murrumbidgee Men's Group want to bring big names to our community, so that the men of our region can get the chance to hear from them and learn different mental health techniques to implement into their own lives."
The group was launched by the two Riverina men after their experiences with mental illnesses.
