Holly Conroy, the organiser of the city's Mardi Gras, said she had secured the performer for a show on Friday and Saturday night of the three-day festival in 2020.
She added that Aja as a nonbinary queer artist and performer had brought the art of drag into the masc-dominated world of hip-hop.
"I am a huge fan of Drag Race, and I think Aja is incredibly talented," she said.
"They are not about just bringing looks to the runway, but has been experimenting with the form of hip hop.
"It is a big deal for Wagga to get a household name such as this one."
Aja's death-defying drop on season three of RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars wowed the judges - and the stunned reactions from her fellow queens circulated immediately on social media.
The festival will run across three days, with a drag night on March 13, Mardi Gras on March 14 and rainbow markets and recovery breakfast on March 15.
