Hallcroft bookended the bumper 10-race card with The Clock Winder taking out the opening event before Reibey Beach saluted in the last.

Hallcroft was pleased with their efforts.

"It was good and I don't remember the last time I've trained a double," Hallcroft said.

"It has been a while so it was good to win two at the new joint."

The Clock Winder made it three wins, plus a second, in his last six starts as he arrived just in time to claim the Sky Racing Active Pace (1740m).

Hallcroft thought the son of Lombo Pocket Watch made up for an uncharacteristic error last time around.

"I have no doubt in my mind he was going to win the start before and I don't know what happened when he galloped at the 600 but still he was only beaten by 2.5 metres," he said. "He'll have a bit of a freshen up as he's gone to a 53-rating horse and we'll go again with him."

Reibey Beach brought up her first win in almost a year to cap off the big night.

It has been 20 starts between success for the daughter of Somebeachsomewhere, but she put pay to her rivals to take out the Rebecca Rutland Memorial (1740) by more than six metres.

Hallcroft was honoured to win the race.

"She seems to show more at home than what she does at the races but it was good that showed turned up and done the job," he said.

"It was a pretty good race to win as I used to drive against Bec Rutland when we were kids."

Gunning trainer Dean Cernovskis also scored a double on the big night.

Cernovskis finished third on The Announcer as Will Rixon drove stablemate Vettel to victory before being at the helm for Nadeen Franco's success.

The Stunning Nun also brought up her second win in her fourth start since joining Hellen and John Scott's stable in the feature race of the night.

The former Kiwi led all the way to take out the Riverina Paceway Football Premier's Cup (2270m).

The premiers sprint was taken out by a fast-finishing Wagga Tigers outfit, who just ran past Riverina Lions in the shadows of the posts.

Meanwhile Saucy Dreams will be looking to make it three wins for the week at Young on Tuesday.

The David Druitt-trained mare won at the track last week before backing up to win at Wagga on Saturday.

The in-form mare has drawn barrier one in the NSWOA Multiquip Bonus Race Series Pace (1720m).

Ross Druitt will take the drive.

The six-race card gets under way at 6.13pm.
