Naomi Miller, co-owner of Borambola Wines, said they were sad to cancel, but it was the right choice to make in light of the weather soon to hit the city.
"We have made the decision for the safety of our patrons, vendors, staff and musicians," she said.
"Do not worry we will be back on November 29, so we look forward to seeing everyone then."
Friday's weather is predicted to be unsettled, with winds, showers and a maximum temperature of 33 degrees on the way.
Foodies can enjoy all that Cork and Fork has to offer at the next event on November 29.
