Last year's preliminary finalist have lost their first three matches to sit on the bottom of the ladder.
Coming up against Wagga RSL, who just have the one victory to their credit, captain Keenan Hanigan is determined to turn things around at Wagga Cricket Ground on Saturday.
"We just need to get a win and kick start our season," Hanigan said.
"Obviously RSL have a quality side and we aren't going to take them lightly but we definitely need that win.
"If we lose this week our season is slowly slipping away."
Batting is what Hanigan believes needs improving.
They were restricted to 90 in a 101-run loss to Wagga City last week with David Bolton contributing 46.
"Our batting needs to stand up and we need to get runs on the board," Hanigan said.
"We need confidence in our ability as at the moment the batting side isn't working for us. We've been bowling and fielding well but just can't click with the bat."
The response to another loss has been promising with the club experiencing their biggest turn out at training on Tuesday.
Hanigan believes there has already been a change of atmosphere at the club.
Andrew Dutton, Matthew Etchells and Dan Perri are all expected to come into the side while Brendan O'Reilly and Luke Richardson are unavailable while Scott McLachlan (groin) has joined Macgregor Hanigan and Marc Vincent on the sidelines through injury.
