ONE of six people arrested after police busted an alleged drug ring in the region earlier this month has admitted to being a supplier.
Mount Austin's Steven Wayne Kelly, 36, appeared in Wagga Local Court today when he pleaded guilty to three counts of supplying prohibited drugs.
Court documents state that between August 29-31, he supplied 4.95g of ice and 7g of cannabis to a Junee woman, who has also been charged and is yet to face court.
Police caught Kelly in the act after his phone was lawfully intercepted.
Police relied on expert evidence in relation to the coded conversations between Kelly and the co-accused.
About 8.10am on October 1, police went to Kelly's house to arrest him.
Kelly, who is released on bail, is set to face court again in November.
He will be assessed for entry into the Magistrates Early Referral Into Treatment Program before sentencing.
Three other Wagga men and another Junee woman are yet to face court for their alleged roles.
The arrests came after police set up Strike Force Cluck in July to investigate the supply of prohibited drugs in the Riverina.
