Paramedics were called to Lake Hume about 10.15am on Sunday after receiving notifcation of the incident.
Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullen said a boat had overturned during the event.

"We got the call at 10.14am, to Lake Road at Bellbridge, the Hume Boat Club," he said.
"A boat had flipped and overturned.
"The driver got himself out and he's been taken to Albury Base Hospital with an ankle injury."

The man, aged in his 30s, was in a stable condition.
The crash occurred in windy conditions, but it's unknown what the exact cause of the crash was.
Saturday's racing finished earlier than plan due to high winds.
About 60 boats entered into this year's event, hosted by the Hume Boat Club.
Competitors travelled from across NSW and Victoria to compete.
Organisers say the event is the largest of its kind in the area.
The Lake Hume Coast guard was also involved in the event, which has been running on the lake for several years.
