LAKE Albert coach Mitch Tinnock says he's more likely than not to continue as first grade coach next year, admitting the heartbreak of their Pascoe Cup grand final loss is "definitely a factor".

Tinnock led the Sharks to an unbeaten premiership run in 2018, but they were forced to play bridesmaid to Hanwood this season after they won last month's decider 2-1 in extra time.
"I haven't fully confirmed (I'll be back as coach yet) but I probably will be," Tinnock said.
"I'll probably get an assistant coach in to help me out if I do it again, that's what I'm asking from the board."
Tinnock was also part of the Sharks' reserve grade premiership run this year.
"I want to play and it's a time consuming job, especially the last couple of years where we've gone deep," he said.
"I was pretty happy to see the end of the season and refresh the batteries. It's hard work, but fun."
Lake Albert and Hanwood are well poised to content for premierships for years to come and Tinnock said a chance to reverse this year's result will be part of his decision-making process.
"I do want another chance to take them on and all the boys do, virtually all of them will be back," Tinnock said.
"That's definitely a factor but if I'm not coaching I'll still be playing, I'm not going anywhere else.
"There's no real obvious replacement, I don't want to hand over the reins to any old person and undo the hard work we've done the last couple of years."
