Although construction of the new amenities block is still not complete, players shouldn't be hampered.
The season will culminate with the grand finals on March 28.
As usual there will be no play on Saturdays December 21 and 28, and January 4, 11, 18 and 25, as the competition goes into recess over the summer holidays.
There will also be a general bye on December 7 allowing participation in the ACT Skins tournament.
As per last season, the competition will be played in three grades, A B and C.
Turvey Park Club has 'bitten the bullet' and will field two teams in the A Grade competition. To open the season, they will play against each other.
The feature match of Saturday's opener is that between reigning premiers, South Wagga Warriors and the Saints.
In lower grades, there will be five in 'B' grade and perhaps five in 'C' grade as well, should Lake Albert go with their hopes of nominating two teams.
