The Bulls started with a bang, recording a thrilling six-run win over Kooringal Colts at Rawlings Park on Saturday.
They were brought crashing back to earth on Sunday as they lost to St Michaels at Robertson Oval.
"It was a good start (on Saturday)," Tansey said.
"It was a good team effort and then we were a bit flat today."
Lake Albert posted 7-132 against Kooringal Colts with Josh Coyte (38) and Sam Smith (28) leading the way with the bat.
They restricted Colts to 9-126 in reply. Smith proved to be the star as he cleaned up Kooringal's middle and lower order to finish with 5-23 from four overs.
On Sunday, St Michaels captain Beck Frostick led the charge and blasted 76 as the Saints made 4-159 from their 20 overs.
Lake Albert were never in the hunt and were dismissed for 106 in the 17th over. St Michaels quick David Garness ripped through the Bulls and took 5-13 off 3.2 overs.
Coyte again led the way for Lake Albert and top scored with 48, while Smith picked up a couple more wickets.
Tansey was pleased with the early signs for Lake Albert in the two Twenty20 matches.
"I would of taken one (win) and one (loss) at the start of the weekend," he said.
"After a great effort (on Saturday) I was disappointed we were a little bit flat today but we know what we've got to do to improve."
