The dressage phase starts 8am on Sunday at the indoor arena in junior and senior categories, before showjumping is contested from 10am.
Competition concludes with the cross country event on the Olympic standard course on Sunday morning.
"We've got about 160 entries and a fairly good amount of juniors, which is great," Riverina Equestrian Association life member Elaine Furze said.
Glenys Noble, Jenny Osborne and returning former Wagga resident Bree Furze are rated among the best local hopes.
Hazel Shannon, a winner of Adelaide's three day event rated the biggest in the southern hemisphere, has also been confirmed to compete.
