Spackman will contest the $75,000 TAB Highway Class Three Handicap (1600m) with last-start winners Jaytee's The Fox and Gotta Want It.
Spackman is enjoying an amazing run of form with nine of his last 14 runners winning, giving him one of the best strike rates in the country.
It will be the first time Spackman has started two horses at a city meeting and he is excited about what the pair can deliver.
"As a rule, I don't like putting my horses against each other," Spackman said.
"But these two are going on the same path, and in the same direction, towards the Country Championships and they both deserve their chance in this race.
"I'm confident, and I don't care which one wins. I'm very excited about going up there."
Gotta Want It has won both starts, at Gundagai and Canberra, since joining the Spackman stable for this preparation.
The four-year-old mare is raced by Spackman's stable foreperson Maddy Collins and Caroline Mackinnon. She will be ridden by stable apprentice Josh Richards, whose three kilogram claim will get her in with just 52kg.
"On what Gotta Want It can do, and what she has achieved, she has to be right in it," he said.
"She's gone from strength to strength. She's a genuine little mare and she'll be on speed somewhere."
Jake Duffy will travel to Sydney to retain the ride on Jaytee's The Fox, who won last start at Wagga over the mile, carrying 62kg.
He drops six kilograms for Saturday's assignment.
"If Jaytee's The Fox goes down there and behaves himself, we all know there is a couple of him, then he will give it a shake," Spackman said.
"It was a big win last start with 62, and he drops down to 56. Jake stays on him, he was happy to go up there and ride him and I'm very happy to have him on.
"I know what he is capable of. I used to have black curly hair and be quite a handsome fella before Jaytee's The Fox came along. It's just a matter of which Jaytee turns up."
Jaytee's The Fox is an $11 chance with TAB, with Gotta Want It at $6.50.
Meantime, there is meetings at Albury (TAB) and Young (picnics) on Saturday.
