With four wins from as many games, they sit just clear of a South Coast outfit Shane Quinlivan, who were held to a 22-all draw by Temora's Bruce Lack on Sunday morning but are yet to taste defeat.
Josh Rudd's team is one of three to have taken three wins, but they sit ahead of Chris Cooney and Ralph Fair on ends won.
RSL Club president Max Sanbrook has been pleased with how their biggest event has unfolded despite the wind picking up on Sunday.
"The greens are running well and that is the main thing," Sanbrook said.
"There are big accolades from all the visitors on the greens and the way they prepare them. Everything seems to be running smoothly."
The $10,000 event concludes on Monday.
