The Trevor Sutherland-trained mare repeated last year's performance in the Lockhart feature to bring up her first win since March.
In her third run back from a spell, the six-year-old fired home to down Doug Gorrel's Southern Gamble by almost two lengths.
Sutherland was pleased to have the mare back to winning form.
"It was good and the mare deserves it," Sutherland said.
"She has been a good mare, has won 10 races now and I still think there a few wins ahead of her."
Tearful Kitty has become a regular on the picnic circuit with success at Condobolin and Carrathool before her lean patch.
She finished seventh in the Picnic Championship at Dubbo last time out but have a much more settled preparation this time around.
"We set her for that final in Dubbo and when she kicked her leg we got a little bit behind and missed our lead up runs," Sutherland said.
"I then lost my jockey and it just didn't suit her.
"She's done really well since so I was pretty confident with Jody (Hughes) going back on board.
Sutherland also tasted success with Miss Kaanapali winning at her third start.
He believes there are more wins in store.
"She's a young mare who actually doesn't go too bad," Sutherland said.
"I'm trying to get her a bit of education at the moment so it was a pretty easy win for her.
"She will be a nice little mare going forward.
"She come to me with a few problems but we've been able to sort them out."
He was also placed with Empires Collide, Peduzzi and Our Romeo.
Jody Hughes rode both Sutherland's horses to victory.
Ricky Blewitt also had a good day out with three winners.
He combined with Dick Dale to win the opening race with Bella Shadow, then scored on Chief Of Arlington for Gorrel and Salerno for Darryl Rolfe.
Sutherland has three runners at Murrumbidgee Turf Club on Saturday before lining up four at Cootamundra on Sunday along with two emergencies.
