Four sprinters from Henschke Primary School have a spring in their step, their school name up in lights, and a trip to the state titles on the cards after a brilliant effort on the track last week.

Finn Anderson, Cooper Connelly, Will Foley and Oliver Stout combined to win gold for Henschke in the 8-10-years boys' 4x100m relay at Sydney Olympic Park.
Representing the Wagga Diocese at the Mackillop Athletics carnival, the Henschke boys raced home in 58.95 seconds, to claim the gold medal by just 0.05 seconds.
The team from Villa Maria, a school in Sydney's Hunter's Hill, came in second in 59.00, with St Gregory's, Queanbeyan in third.
The Mackillop carnival is a representative step between diocesan and state carnivals, featuring the best of catholic school students from half of NSW. The Henschke team will be back in Sydney for the state schools championships in November.
