The winners, who wished to remain anonymous, admitted that they had no idea that they had won the first prize.
"Have we really? Good God! Far! Holy Moses," the husband said to NSW Lotteries official this afternoon.

The pair agreed that their unexpected winnings will go towards a much-needed getaway.
"It's come at a great time. It's a nice surprise for our Thursday," he said.
"I am not too sure what we are going to do with it. We would like to go on a nice, long holiday together somewhere in Australia we haven't been to yet."
Tumbarumba Newsagency owner Stuart Bremmer said he was "over-the-moon" for the winning couple.
"The customers came in today and we were thrilled to be able to congratulate them in person and help unite them with their prize," he said.
"It's great local customers won. They are so deserving. It couldn't have happened to nicer people.
