A raft of Wagga preschools will be able to splash out on new play equipment and other improvements after successfully applying for government grants.

The grants - of amounts of up to $10,000 - have come from the NSW Government's quality learning environments program.
Wagga-based Nationals MLC, Wes Fang, said a number of centres in the Wagga electorate would receive grants of up to $10,000 under the program.
These centres include:
- $10,000 for Kooringal Child Care Centre for a sandpit and mud kitchen
- $10,000 for Uranquinty Preschool for art and cultural incursions and chairs
- $8627 for Goodstart Early Learning Tatton for Aboriginal art incursion
- $8084 for Goodstart Early Learning Wagga-Station Place for outdoor play equipment
- $7090 for St Marys Rainbow Preschool for bathroom renovations
- $8973 for Goodstart Early Learning Ashmont for climbing equipment
- $8973 for Goodstart Early Learning Wagga-Morgan Street for outdoor equipment
- $10,000 for Goodstart Early Learning Estella for outdoor blinds
- $3996 for St Lukes Preschool to upgrade their playground
- $9736 for Tumut Preschool for outdoor equipment and furniture
- $9044 for Goodstart Early Learning Glenfield Park for installation of soft fall
- $8973 for Goodstart Early Learning Wagga-Lake Albert Road for climbing equipment
- $10,000 for Inspire Early Learning Centre for renovations
- $4689 for Adelong Preschool for a home corner
"These grants can be used to make physical improvements to early childhood services, like new gardens, jungle gyms or bathroom renovations, and can also assist the roll-out of new learning programs, like music lessons or yoga classes," Mr Fang said.
"I am thrilled that the littlest learners will benefit from this funding now and for years to come."
