For the second year running Royals and LAC United will clash in the women's division one decider.
LAC United fell short last year, and were beaten 4-0 when the teams met earlier in the finals series.
Captain Jesse Thompson is hoping they can turn the tables in the big one and believes they are better placed this time around.
"I think we've got a good crack at it this year," Thompson said. "We've really gelled as a team."
LAC United have beaten Royals so far this season however Thompson knows they are going to need to be at their best to do so once more.
"They are a really, really strong side and have a good midfield who distribute the ball, get it out wide and they are pretty good in the attacking circle," she said.
"We've got a taste ahead of us but I think we can do it."
The women's decider is the last of the five grand finals, with Royals on the hunt for a clean sweep.
The club are out to continue a surprising grand final trend when they take on Harlequins in the men's division one decider.
For the last five years the winner of the major semi-final has come unstuck in the grand final.
Last year's premiers scored a 4-1 win over Royals to book their place in the grand final but Royals coach Pat O'Donnell is hoping a 4-0 win over Lake Albert in the preliminary final
"Losing in the first week of finals wasn't the best we could do but at least we had a good convincing win last week to go through to the grand final," O'Donnell said.
O'Donnell is looking for a more complete team performance and they've been focusing on the way they move the ball around.
Limiting the influence of Brendan Watson up front is one thing Royals are looking to do while Jarrod Thorne, who was named as the competition's joint best and fairest winner, is one O'Donnell is hopeful can perform on the big stage.
