Hanwood managed to clear the top of the table by nine points during the regular season.
They also defeated Tolland 5-1 in the major semi-final.
Despite these facts, the Hanwood side is hoping to avoid complacency and continue their fine form heading into Sunday's match.
"The girls are all very excited and we're looking forward to a good, tough game," said coach Anthony Zuccato.
Hanwood will feature a full-strength squad this weekend, including golden boot winner Tara Ceccato.
Both Lauren Bertolin and Candice Bertoldo are back from injury, making their return at just the right time to assist their side with what they hope will be a winning weekend.
Lauren had injured her ankle with a slight knock, and Candice held concerns for her hamstring.
Luckily however, both of the girls are feeling healthy and remain highly motivated ahead of the Tolland clash.
Tolland managed to outplay Junee in a 3-1 result to fight their way back into the grand final.
They have not been ruled out of the race for first place, as Tolland were the only side to defeat Hanwood during the course of the season.
An unexpected result, but one which could sway the outcome of this year's grand final.
Hanwood coach Anthony Zuccato still remains confident ahead of the match-up, stating that his side will be utilising their squad depth to come out in front.
The team features a wide range of player ages, from 15 year-old girls to women in their mid 20s.
A real testament to their team diversity and chemistry.
This is the first season that Hanwood ladies have played in the Wagga competition, making the switch from Griffith where they competed last year.
Despite scrambling for numbers in the beginning, the squad has managed to gel incredibly well, with a number of different teams combining to make this group of star athletes.
Now, sporting fans can look forward to what is sure to be an outstanding match between two competition heavyweights.
Kick-off will be 1:30pm on Sunday at McDonald Park, Wagga Wagga.
