A dual-cab utility vehicle was destroyed in a fire in Ashmont early on Monday morning.

The vehicle, which was parked near the corner of Jenkins and Tobruk streets, suffered extensive fire damage with the cabin area completely burnt-out .
Firefighters from Fire and Rescue NSW Turvey Park station were called to the incident at 2.46am and had the fire extinguished by 3.11am.
Fire and Rescue NSW was unable to provide further details.
Wagga police also attended the incident and are investigating the fire.
A fire crew returned to the scene at about 10.30am in response to reports the burnt vehicle was leaking fluids, which turned out not to be fuel.
Firefighters attended a separate car fire at Moorong early on Saturday morning.
Wagga was on track to have fewer car fires this year than last year, based on projections from previous months.
