First grade
North Wagga 13.9.87 d EWK 10.7.67, best on ground Cayden Winter (North Wagga)
Spearheaded by five goals from their longest serving player, Troy Curtis, and a best-on-ground performance from co-captain Cayden Winter, North Wagga claimed a famous 13.9 (87) to 10.7 (67) victory.
In front of a record Farrer League grand final crowd, North Wagga were down by seven points at quarter-time and looking a little shaky after it.
But they set their supporters' hearts racing - and themselves up for success - when they piled on six goals to one in the second term.
It was a fitting finale for an emotional Kirk Hamblin who closed his four-year stint as coach with the club's greatest achievement in a quarter of a century.
"It still feels surreal. I'm just super proud of the boys and the club. A lot of hard work's gone in to getting there. It's not just this year, it's been building for a lot of years and I'm just so proud of everyone involved," Hamblin said. Full match report
The Hawks held top position on the ladder from the season's first bounce right through to round eight, when they were overtaken by their eventual grand final opponents at the final whistle of round nine. The Hawks dropped as low as fourth before ending the season third on the ladder. North Wagga dominated the second half of the competition, dropping from top of the ladder just once - at the close of round 11, when EWK clawed back to the top for a round - and held on strong to take out the minor premiership.
Here's how the whole competition looked during the year. North Wagga and EWK played against each other in Round 3 and Round 12, at McPherson Oval and Gumly Oval respectively. Hover over or tap on teams for a clearer look at individual results.
Reserve grade
East Wagga-Kooringal 9.9.63 d North Wagga 5.7.37, best on ground Joe Scott (EWK)
East Wagga-Kooringal didn't let a slow start stop them from completing a strong back end of the year. The Hawks won their last eight games to claim their first reserve grade title since completing a hat-trick of flags in 2016, but North Wagga fired early to take a seven-point lead after the first quarter. After conceding three goals in the first term, the Hawks only let two more past them in the 9.9 63 to 5.7 37 victory. Full match report
Under 17.5s
Marrar 11.13.79 d East Wagga-Kooringal 8.15.63, best on ground Drew Beavan (Marrar)
Marrar ended East Wagga-Kooringal's unbeaten season to secure back-to-back premierships in the under 17.5s. It was tight throughout the first three quarters before the Bombers continued to lift. Taking a two-point lead into the final change they kicked the first three goals of the quarter to set up the victory. "We knew that if we could make it through to the end of the year you never know what might happen and we were lucky to get away with the win," coach Paul Jenkins said. Full match report

A Grade: The Rock-Yerong Creek 48 d CSU 37, player of the match Lily Wild (TRYC)
TRYC's only defeat of the season - by CSU, in the qualifying final - sharpened the Magpies up mentally, forced them to refocus and it culiminated in a dominant 48-37 Farrer League grand final win over the Bushsows on Saturday. One of the first people coach Sarah O'Leary thought of when the final whistle blew was her father, Mark, a Magpies football legend who passed away in 2013."I know how proud he'd be of me, Emily and the club, he absolutely loved The Rock so much and I know he'd love us winning three flags and winning here for him," Sarah said.
