McKelvie will be joined by experienced campaigners Tim Beard and Alex Manley for the showdown between East Wagga-Kooringal and North Wagga.
Well-known for his commitment to the Temora football club over many years, McKelvie has plenty of experience as a club umpire.
He's made a rapid rise since becoming a league-appointed umpire only last year, and his progression will see him in the field for the Farrer League finale.
McKelvie's fellow umpires have been there on many occasions already.
Beard will be officiating his seventh Farrer League grand final, as he draws closer to 500 games of experience with Riverina Umpires Association.
Manley has already blown the whistle in four Farrer League grand finals.
The first grade grand final is due to start at 2.45pm at Robertson Oval.
