Bombers coach Paul Jenkins is rapt in the efforts of his team to make the decider after battling for numbers at times and says they don't intend to let the unbeaten Hawks have it all their own way.

"We'll go in with the mindset that we can create an upset and are working on the boys just attacking the footy, looking after their teammates, and getting their head over the ball," Jenkins said.

"East Wagga have got a really good on-ball brigade. They've got Ryan Bourne, the league medallist, he's a quality player. And they've got some really good targets up forward."

Koby Wilson (39 goals) and Kolby McMahon (30) have kicked 69 goals between them in 13 games for the Hawks.

The young Bombers will fly the flag for the club with seniors and reserves missing out, and will benefit from the return of key first graders Drew Beavan and Toby Lawler and potentially Adam Whyte from injury.

But Jenkins praised the efforts of his squad in getting to the big day.

"Just the fact that we've battled to get sides together throughout the year but they've always worked together and supported each other, even the guys playing first grade who have come back and sat on the bench and helped out," he said.

"For us to make it this far, it's been great given where we were at the start of the year battling for numbers."

With the 17s netballers, they'll do the club proud.

"With the junior netballers, we're definitely carrying the hopes and that's where we see the future of our club, relying on youth," he said.
