LAKE Albert's cross town rivalry with Henwood Park is a strong but friendly one. The Sharks' rivalry with Hanwood is more no-holds barred.

It's why Sharks captain Ben Angel is desperate to get another shot at the Griffith boys in next week's grand final by overcoming the Hawks in Sunday's Pascoe Cup preliminary final at Junee.
Angel, 37, has won five first grade premierships and although Hanwood only returned to the league this year, was playing when they were previously under the Football Wagga banner.
He said Lake Albert was guilty of impatience when Hanwood's Michael Musitano was sent off with 35 minutes left in last week's 1-0 major semi loss, and the defending champions are eager for another crack in the decider.
"There was still 35 minutes left and we played as if there was ten to go," Angel said.
"We did get into our heads that with the man advantage we needed to go hard, and maybe we were too attacking and direct.
"We need patience, to make sure we give ourselves really good opportunities instead of bombing it in.
"A lot of us were pretty disappointed with how last week ended up and we'd be pretty shattered watching on grand final day, and not getting another crack at Hanwood."
Lake Albert and Henwood Park were the only Wagga teams to make finals and both camps have publicly stated if they can't win the title, they'd love the other to salute.
But only one can suit up on grand final day.
Lake Albert needed 119 minutes to overcome Henwood Park in the qualifying final thanks to a late extra time penalty.
"For the bulk of the season it (rivalry) is pretty friendly, we train side by side and with the Trevaskis brothers (Shark James and Hawk Harry) on each team, we keep track of how they're going," Angel said.
"But this week we didn't really give them a second look as we walked off training and it will be the same this weekend.
"It's friendly off the field but once the whistle blows both teams are desperate to go through and play Hanwood."
Lake Albert's second and third grade teams have already booked grand final spots, with the Pascoe Cup outfit looking to seal the trifecta.
"We've been lucky to do it (win premiership) two out of the last three but we'd love to go back-to-back, we haven't done it since 2010-11," Angel said.
"We're not sure who will be suited to that Junee field either with no first grade team this year, so we'll go from there."
The Pascoe Cup preliminary final is scheduled to start at Burns Park at 3pm.
