The Tex-Mex food chain's initial NSW roll out will be in Newcastle and Western Sydney, which are expected to open in late spring.
This is part of their plans to open more than 110 outlets across Australia and New Zealand over the next five years.
A Taco Bell spokesperson confirmed Wagga is part of a number of "potential" new sites, which will be announced in due course.
"... the date and exact location of each restaurant opening remains under wraps for now," the spokesperson said.
"... fans can look forward to the upcoming restaurants having open kitchens where they can watch their meals be freshly prepared, customer-curated music playlists ... and free WiFi."

Wagga is already home to Mexican food outlets, such as Guzman Y Gomez and Zambrero, and the Taco Bell spokesperson said a number of factors influence locations of interest.
"[This includes] fan presence, visibility, accessibility, size and competition, as well as ensuring the right brand fit for Taco Bell," they said.
The next store announcements are expected over the coming months.
