Manton was crowned Riverina League's best and fairest player with a runaway victory in the vote count at Narrandera Ex-Servicemen's Club.

Manton polled 24 votes to finish three clear of Coolamon young gun Luke Redfern (21), who stormed home with 16 votes in the final seven rounds to grab second.

Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong ruckman and pre-count favourite Jacob Olsson (17) was a further four votes back in third place.

It was Manton's second consecutive league best and fairest after sharing the Peter Moore Medal in the Alberton League in country Victoria last year when playing with Toora.

In the process, he became the first Tigers player since Mark Stone in 1998 to win the Quinn Medal.

It was also his second award win this year after taking out Tigers' club best and fairest.

The 25-year-old returned to Wagga Tigers this season after playing in the club's 2016 premiership.

Manton lives between Wollongong and Sydney and travels each week to line up with Tigers. He joined the club just a week out from the start of the season when moving from Victoria.

After playing in Tigers' premiership, Manton spent 2017 with Swan Districts in the Western Australian Football League (WAFL), before joining Toora last year.

Manton polled votes in 10 of Tigers' 16 home and away games, including five best-on-ground performances.

Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes teenager George Kendall (15) and Griffith's Jordan Iudica rounded out the top five.

Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong's Matt Hamblin was named football rising star.

Collingullie-Glenfield Park's Kallan Sykes won the Frank Gaynor Medal for reserve grade best and fairest, while Leeton-Whitton's Josh Lanham beat Wagga Tigers' Hamish Gilmore by one vote to claim the Lou Brown Medal in under 17s.

Griffith's Dean Catanzariti won coach of the year and Coolamon's Stuart Seymour was awarded Volunteer of the Year.

GGGM's Less Wall and Leeton-Whitton's Lloyd Bullock were presented with AFL NSW-ACT Merit Awards.
