Police have made two arrests in Junee's Marquis Street this afternoon, according to Wagga Police Superintendent Bob Noble.
"That is a live situation that is unfolding," he said.
"For operational and safety reasons, I cannot comment too specifically."
Superintendent Noble said it was an ongoing investigation by Riverina Police District and the Southern Region enforcement squad.
"It is in relation to drugs and property crime. It has been going on for some time, and what we are seeing today is a partial resolution phase," he said.
"Police have declared it a crime scene.
"We will search that scene and most probably seize a number of items, but at this stage, that is all I can say."
More information to come.
