The event on Sunday is to support R U OK? Day, which is being held around Australia on Thursday.
Event spokeswoman Paige Pollard said, "our friends, family members and workmates face life's ups and downs every day of the year".
"That's why we're hosting a picnic in the vines to do what we can to get our community asking, 'are you OK?' and to reach out to anyone they're worried about," Ms Pollard said.
The picnic in the vines at Eunonyhareenyha Winery will run from 10am to 3pm.
There will be two guest speakers, NSW regional support worker Ted O'Kane and local farmer and mental health advocate Chris Wilson.
A number of local businesses have also donated items for an auction, with all proceeds going to R U OK?
Murrumbidgee Local Health District community mental health and drug and alcohol manager Alison Thorne said people often don't know where to start to get the mental health services they need.
"Your local GP or other health professionals can help connect you with the right mental health service, she said.
"It's common to feel unsure and to wonder whether you should try to handle things on your own.
"It is always ok to ask for help - even if you're not sure you are experiencing a specific mental health problem."
