The minor premiers will face Wagga Tigers, who finished second, on their home ground, Robertson Oval, as both look to set up a grand final clash with Griffith.
Hoppers president Derek Owens would like the game to be played at Narrandera Sportsground instead.
"My question was they were prepared to facilitate a change of venue should we have beaten Griffith and felt if they are prepared to do that then why would they not prepared to do it on the other side of things," Owens said.
"I understand the argument that most of their consideration is through travel and mine is more looking at the integrity or the aesthetics from outside if there is a neutral venue.
"It seems it would be common sense to use it."
If Coolamon had beaten Griffith on Saturday the preliminary final would have been played at Narrandera.
Riverina League president Chris Flanagan reiterated that geography of the teams involved was the main consideration for finals venues, which clubs agreed to.
"We booked it in months ago and went to a delegates meeting and said where the finals were going to be, asked for their feedback and everyone was quite comfortable knowing where the finals were going to be as potentially they could end up with it," Flanagan said.
However he didn't rule out revisiting the venue this week.
